Terms of Service

Aadhti is an online marketplace and an “intermediary” under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We provide the platform on which independent shopkeepers list and sell goods (grain, pulses, oil, cattle feed and other mandi items) to buyers.

We do not manufacture, own, sell, or deliver the goods. The contract for any order is directly between the buyer and the shopkeeper. Aadhti is not a party to that contract.

Aadhti is intended for business and adult use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service.

You can sign in with Google, an email link, or (for shopkeepers) a phone number and PIN. Keep your login and PIN confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

Placing an order is an offer to buy from the shopkeeper at the listed price. The order is confirmed when the shopkeeper accepts it.

Orders are Cash on Delivery (COD) — you pay the shopkeeper in cash when the goods are delivered or collected. Please keep the correct amount ready.

Prices, wholesale rates, pack sizes, minimum order quantities and availability are set by the shopkeeper and can change. Rates shown reflect the shopkeeper’s last update.

You may cancel an order free of charge within 3 hours of placing it; after that, please call the shop. A shopkeeper may cancel an order (e.g. stock or delivery issues) and will give a reason.

Because orders are COD, returns, replacements, weight/quality issues and any refunds are handled directly with the shopkeeper who fulfilled the order. Aadhti can help facilitate but is not responsible for the goods.

If you list on Aadhti, you are solely responsible for your products — their description, price, weight/measure accuracy, quality, safety, and legal compliance (including FSSAI, weights & measures, GST and other applicable laws).

You must list only goods you are legally allowed to sell, keep prices and stock accurate, fulfil accepted orders, and treat buyer information only for fulfilling orders.

New products may be reviewed before they appear. We may remove listings, or suspend an account, that breach these Terms or the law.

Do not misuse Aadhti: no unlawful, fraudulent, infringing or harmful activity; no attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service; no impersonation; no listing of prohibited or illegal goods.

Aadhti’s name, logo, design and software are owned by us. Content you upload (such as product or shop photos) remains yours, but you grant Aadhti a licence to host and display it on the platform to operate the service.

You confirm you have the right to upload any content you provide and that it does not infringe others’ rights.

Aadhti is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. As an intermediary, we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or delivery of any goods listed by shopkeepers, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Aadhti is not liable for the goods or the conduct of shopkeepers or buyers, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

You agree to indemnify Aadhti against claims and losses arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or (for shopkeepers) the goods you sell.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Sonipat, Haryana have jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
